   Hello, hello! I'm Kelly, and I adore photography :) I am creating a photography blog right now, but I have enjoyed photography for a long time. I remember walking around with my neighbor / awesome friend Courtney Smith when we were eleven years old, taking pictures of grasshoppers, geese, ducks, and other creatures we came across. When my parents developed the disposable cameras, they questioned me, pretty confused as to why I would want to take pictures of bugs and the like. I responded with something like, "Mom, it's not weird - it's art!" This continued similarly on a family vacation up to Nova Scotia, Canada. We stayed in a cabin, and there were bunnies hopping around everywhere. Bunnies being my favorite animal growing up + having another simple camera on hand = a picture of literally each and every bunny I saw on that trip. And thus was born my love for photography.

   I love a lot of things... people, animals (especially elephants now), nature, architecture... and God has blessed me with countless moments to sit and gaze at His beautiful creations. People tend to say that a) a picture is worth a thousand words, and b) if you take a picture it'll last longer, and I believe both of those statements. Capturing moments through photography is a hobby and an absolute passion of mine now, and I want to share some of the fruits of that passion with yall :)
