EDIT: Perspective
Hello, kind friends! I would like to announce something really exciting that is starting TOMORROW! I am partnering with Hillside Missions to help share the good news of Jesus through art. God equips us all with unique gifts, talents, and passions, and while I am not sure to what He is calling me for my whole life, I know that I am passionate about photography. I feel very blessed to have connected with Hillside Missions at Urbana missions conference in St. Louis at the end of December, and I am so excited to work with them. They/we believe that God can and will use art to open doors and bring people into conversations that glorify Him and make Him known. I pray that people see the world in a different light through my photography and that God's unconditional love for His children is revealed.
My photography show at Gallery Edit, entitled "EDIT: Perspective," will be up for the remainder of April, but the opening of the show is tomorrow - Friday, April 5, from 6pm - 9pm!! It is at 8 East Broad Street in Richmond, VA. I will be at the opening with Andrew and the lovely people of Gallery Edit, and we would love to see YOU! As if you need an added incentive - A lot of other art galleries on East Broad St. also have gallery openings on the first Friday of the month, so you have the opportunity to see a lot of awesome art all in the same evening! If you can't make it, though, please feel free to stop by any other time during April. :)
The show will include only my photography (How exclusive, right? I feel so special!), with a total of thirty-six photographs. You may have seen some of the photos before, but others will be brand new to you! They will all be for sale, and pricing varies with the size of the photo (ranging from 8x10" to 24x36"). At the end of April, I will post again with photos and prices in case you can't make it to the gallery but are interested!!
Please check out the Facebook event for EDIT: Perspective (where you will get a sneak peek of one of the photos on display!) and let us know if you can come! If you have any questions or comments, please leave a comment on this post or email me at kellygatewoodphotography@gmail.com.

Thank you so much :) I can't wait to see you and post more soon!
God bless,
Kelly
PS- SO sorry for the hiatus on blog posting. Student teaching and wedding planning have kept me very busy, as you can imagine! Those experiences and plans have been wonderful, but I am really looking forward to posting more and getting on a regular blog schedule this summer :)
